Has anyone tried the Incrediwear sleeves
Has anyone tried the Incrediwear leg sleeves, calf sleeves, socks or any of their product line? This brand was recommended to me by a tech at a local medical product store that could not fit me with a typical calf sleeve that would fit me properly. I also had problems with commercial calf compression sleeves that I bought on amazon. The incrediwear say that they are not compression-based but work with another method they describe on their web site. I ordered a pair of leg sleeves and am going to try them out.

@arflmi33 - I haven't used the Incrediwear leg sleeves or other products but I did a search of Connect and found that @elimseoj and @mpirruccel have mentioned Incrediwear in other discussions - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/comments/. Hoping they can share there experience with you.
I also have lymphedema in my legs and have to wear compressions socks to just below the knees. My original ones were difficult to put on and costly until I found some with side zippers that worked well for the swelling for me but I'm always looking for ones that are easier to put on but still control the swelling.

5 ReactionsThank you John. I will take a look at these other commenters you mentioned. I was using Doc Miller calf sleeves for over a year with good results. I also have venous insufficiency in my legs. But then recently I developed a serious pain in my left upper leg right where the band of the calf sleeve hits there. This only happened on the left leg. My cardio did check me out for a DVT and they did not think it was that, they thought the band of the calf sleeve was hitting me right where one of my blood vessels was swollen. A different doctor said a similar thing but said the calf sleeve could be causing pain where a neuropathy-affected nerve is irritated. Same pain, two different ideas of what could be causing it. Long story short the one doctor suggested I try a leg sleeve that went over my knee into the thigh, so that the band would not be hitting that spot. I did try one by Incrediwear and I liked the feel of it overall but the band across my upper thigh was so tight, that it hurt. Not sure what to do now.
@johnbishop Zippers? Who knew! Learned something new today 🙃

2 Reactions@rivermaya34 What sold me on the zipper compression socks was they were half the price of the first 2 pairs I bought at the Mayo store after being diagnosed. paid $160 for the 2 pairs of Jobst socks and never bought another one. 🙃

2 Reactions@johnbishop I remember people using the Jobst socks when I worked for the Prosthetics/Orthotics company. I heard they got 'ok' ratings, but were second to another company's (the name is escaping me - not Medi - tho, those are popular, too + $$). Wait ... there's a Mayo store?? 😮🙈 I might have to recommend these to a friend, not to mention, maybe try myself. I've been avoiding compression socks thus far - not necessarily the best decision, but my legs seem to still be attached 😅 Mind.blown.

1 ReactionI went to a place locally where they were supposed to be able to provide me with prescription calf sleeves... and they could not! This was really strange. Anyway one of the techs who worked there recommended Incrediwear. I did order some leg sleeves from Incrediwear, but they did not fit right so I sent them back. I have not decided whether to reorder in another size or not. I did like the feel of them overall, but there were way too tight around my upper thigh.
