Has anyone suffered insomnia or anxiety from antacids?

I took pantoprazole safely for well over a year until it started giving me stomach pains. My GP (he handles all my meds for the most part because I see him so frequently ) changed me to omeprazole 40 mg and then 20 mg in hopes it would be more well tolerated, both giving me the same stomach pains. We changed to famotidine. I take 20 mg of famotidine in the morning and the same at night. The night dosage causes me to wake up about two hours into my sleep. If I’m lucky enough to fall back asleep, I wake within an hour or two within intense anxiety. I’m awaiting a new gastrologist appointment as the one that diagnosed my ulcer in May has since moved his practice to another state. At our last appointment a few months ago, he said the Prescribed sulcrafate and pantoprazole I was taking at the time (Had not yet stopped it then) should have cleared it up. We did no follow up testing to be sure. Now I am suffering all the symptoms of silent reflux and have been down with stomach pains for several months. My anxiety over feeling terrible and stuck at home for months now is already through the roof. Not sleeping and anxiety at night is putting me over the edge. I also find when I take any over-the-counter antacids such as Mylanta or Maalox, I start getting kidney pains after a few doses. Has anyone experienced any of this?

There are now class actions in Australia and Europe ( not sure about US) re antacids and longterm use as have caused many issues it would seem . 🙁
