Has anyone had lymph node transplant surgery?
I would love to hear from someone who has suffered with lymphedema and was able to have corrective surgery. I know it isn’t very common but my hope is I will soon qualify.
2023 I was diagnosed with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma stage IV with metastasis to the Axilla. Surgery, radiation with concurrent chemo. About 6 months after treatment finished, my arm ballooned. I have been in OT for lymphedema since Feb…. Bandages, message etc. No real change. I would love to move forward with something that has had positive results like transplant. Has anyone gone through this surgery?

I have lymphedema in my mouth, throat and neck following tongue cancer surgery. I use a lymphedema pump made by Tactile Medical. It uses a mask and vest and air pressure to massage the skin. My treatments take 33 min.once a day. My surgeon prescribed it and my insurance paid for it. See their info here. https://tactilemedical.com/
Good luck to you. I see Amazon has other options similar to mine for much less $$.
Thanks Sandy….I’ll look into it.
