Has anyone had a peripheral nerve stimulator for thoracic pain?

Posted by luvrofthelord @luvrofthelord, 1 day ago

I was scheduled for a spinal cord stimulator trial for November 19th and my pain doctor called and talked me out of it. he doesn't think they work for thoracic pain very well and has now suggested a peripheral nerve stimulator (which he doesn't do). I was wondering if anyone has had one of these for severe thoracic pain with no radiographic explanation.

Hello @luvrofthelord, I did a search of Connect and found a few member who mentioned a peripheral nerve stimulator and I think you might find a post by @jenniferhunter in the Thoracic outlet syndrome discussion helpful - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/628627/.

@hodinator may have some experience or thoughts to share also.
