Has anyone had a Craniotomy via eyelid?

So, had another opinion from a neurosurgeon via zoom yesterday. I’m in Atlanta, he’s at Stanford medicine, in California. He specializes in tumors in the Meckel’s cave area and the cavernous sinus area. He said my tumor is big, but in Meckel’s cave, which is way better than cavernous sinus. Alleluia. Great news there. I was hoping the tumor can be removed via nose. But it cannot. He will go thru the right eyelid crease. How awful is recovery? I’m so very scared. My other doctor at MDAndersen wants to wait and watch every 6 months. It is very hard to choose a doctor to go with.
