Has anyone experienced a Low White Cell Count after starting TYMLOS?

Hi!
Even though I have experienced Chronic Bacterial Sinus Infections over the years, they have never affected my White Cell Count. Therefore, I am a little concerned after starting TYMLOS on 06/03/24. Is there a connection between starting TYMLOS on 06/03/24 and having bloodwork done on 06/14/24 by another doctor showing that I have a Low White Cell Count? Any insight into this topic would be appreciated. Thank you. DJ Barnes

I would suggest repeating the lab to determine if perhaps it was a lab error or a one time occurrence prior to determining a relationship to Tymlos

I have been on Tymlos for 2 years and recently finished my protocol. There was a couple of times in that 2 year period that my white count was a little low but not significantly low. Never attributed it to Tymlos because I recently had my bloods drawn and my count was back up. So many factors can influence ur white count…make sure ur well hydrated before a blood draw.

Hi,

I just wanted to thank you for the information that you provided.
No one has ever told me to be well hydrated before having any blood work done so that is something that I will start doing.

Thanks again! Dawn J. Barnes

Have you found out what caused your low white blood count? I started my Tymlos injection about one month ago. I had my blood test done at my family doctor's office today and found out my white blood count is very low. It's in the normal range back in September. I am very worry.
