DO NOT CUT IT !!
Transdermal patches are designed to release a certain amout of medication over a specific period of time.
Cutting would release dangerous amounts of medicine.
Didn't you read the information that came along with the medication . Didn't it say not to cut?
If you decide to cut it or alter it in anyway, be sure to talk to your pharmacist first.

this is the problem I have.....one pharmacist said yes and another said no.....it is a matrix patch which can be cut as the medicine is spread out over the patch unlike a gel based one when cut will release all the med at once........that is the answer I got from one and the other said no.
@kaztaz
I wouldn't be willing to take the chance, are you?

Mayo clinic doesn't recommend to use a patch that's been cut or damaged in anyway.
