Has anyone been diagnosed with patellar tracking syndrome after TKR?
I am 4 y years out from TKA. Pain in kneecaps, completed several physical therapies and the pain does not subside. Walking is terribly painful. Surgeon initially dismissed when I asked about patellar tendinitis. He referred me out with no diagnosis. I don’t know how to determine if this is in fact what I am experiencing as my surgeon will not see me or do any further diagnosing.

hjhd, it's time for a second opinion. There are several ways a surgery can cause patellar tracking syndrome. Whatever it is you need to know and have it treated. Your surgeon may be avoiding you because they recognize an error in surgical technique. Then again, things can go wrong even with perfect surgical technique.
@gently thank you for the reply. I am trying to get a diagnosis period. I have contacted a surgeon out of state and am wondering how this would be diagnosed and treated or corrected. I suspect surgery. Thank you again.
@hjhd
If you need surgery that is called "a revision". revisions are more complex and difficult. Not all surgeons do them and of those who do, not all are great at it.
If your surgeon won't see you, you don't need a second opinion. You need a second surgeon. Whether your problems are because your surgeon screwed up or because you just happened to have feces happen which does occur, your surgeon should be wanting to work with you, not reject you.
My surgeon, for example, does about 20% of his work as revisions. You need a revision surgeon who has done many successful revisions. Of course, a good surgeon considers surgery the last resort.
