Girdlestone

Hi Debbie....I"m 72 and had left Girdlestone procedure 3 years ago and doing very well. I use crutches or walker to get around with and can take several steps with no aid at all. I use countertops in kitchen to get around to cook and clean up, etc. I exercise daily on upright bicycle, ride a tricycle bike in the summer, drive a car, fish on our boat, swim in a pool. If you are on Facebook, there is a new support group called "Girdlestone Procedure Outcomes" with about 30 members who have had this procedure.
