Getting over and past autoimmune pains???

I’ve been injured for many years, and apparently new to autoimmune diseases and my problems started years ago weakening me to now severe pain… in or after a flare up of pain, what should I be doing instead of babying my pain? I tried fibromyalgia yoga this morning, maybe 15 min, and now my buttocks is screaming! I’m lying on heating pad now.
