Gastroparesis (Delayed Emptying) Symptoms
Hi Everyone!
Around a 6 month ago i have been told by my GI that i have a Functional Dyspepesia, however i have also been tested positive for Hydrogen SIBO. I have done so many tests (many bloods, H.Pylory found and erradicated, CT, Abdominal Ultrasound, Faecal tests, Gastropanel, 24h pH Studies and monometry, Gastric Acidity Output (were normal but border low) all that tests were normal.
Im just trying to Figure Out what is happening with my digestive system and im potentialy thinking maybe its a Delayed Stomach Emptying? What is the main/constant symptom of Delayed Acid Emptying? My main symptoms are just bloating, burps (sometimes trapped), slight tummy distention, Acid Reflux, burning sensation at the stomach. I never have nausea or being sick, eat fine, proper meals and dont feel full. If anyone can share their expirience please.
Thanks All!

I have experienced some of the same symptoms; the ultimate diagnosis was SIBO and some food intolerances.
You mentioned your tested postiive for SIBO. Were you treated for it? I have been treated multiple times for SIBO with different types of antibiotics. But, have not had any recurrence recently. I also had side effects from antibodisc so I had to take probiotics at the same time.

4 ReactionsI have had many issues with bowel obstructions and have been on meds for slow bowel movement. Had terrible nausea a couple of months ago for days and now GI doctors have put me on a med that will speed up stomach emptying. Felt great ever since starting this med but apparently can only take it for 8 weeks as it could have bad side effects. It is called Metoclopramide. I would take if forever if possible but too many side effects. Will talk to my famiky doctor this week to see if any alternativd drug.
