Concerned about my postop gallbladder test. Thoughts?
I'm concerned post op about my gallbladder test. Doctor sent it off to be tested says i had a intramural gallbladder (porcelain), and said my stone was hard and immovable in gallbladder wall. I'm worried it might be cancer or something. Anyone had this issue? I'm a worrier for sure. My surger was last monday

Welcome to Mayo Connect. It can be scarry to read imaging tests with out provider explaining. But I also look at mine as soon as published.
You say it was a post-op test? What kind of surgery did you have? At first I thought you had gallbladder removed, but then as read more, sounds like you still have your gallbladder.
Do you have follow up appointment with your provider to go over results?

@tiglily - I personally had my gallbladder out over 10 years ago, and honestly, I can remember very little about the testing or what was said afterward. I was just so relieved to get that gallbladder out, cause it was causing me extreme pain.
I'm tagging some other members who've had gallbladder removal surgery who may have been told something like you or otherwise be familiar with the terminology: that your doctor sent your gallbladder off for testing since you had an intramural gallbladder (porcelain), and your stone was hard and immovable in the gallbladder wall @msb18 @sq2753sw @cherawgirl @marieryan @gallbladder2014 @christina315 @woodsiechris @claytamos @peter2019.
Have you had the chance to send your surgeon a portal message about the testing results, @tiglily? If so, what did they say?
