Forteo & Tymlos insurance

I was browsing Connect this morning & saw a brief but about if you have Medicare B that Tymlos would be available for about $150 per month.
Can someone confirm this for me? Is this true?

Hi @guinivere

My Tymlos was covered under Medicare Part D because it's a self-administered med. The co-pays for the initial months were quite costly, but once I reached the "gap/donut hole" they were slightly less. By about month 6 or 7, I had reached the MOOP and the cost went down to less than $150/month. There are as many answers to these questions as there are stars in the sky, it seems.

Your state/advantage plan may treat things differently. I'm finding that some of us have insurance that makes the costs of these treatments very reasonable - we also need to take into account that there may be subsidies involved as well.

Cheers!
