Following first chemo session

After just a few days following my first chemo session I went from having diarrhea(which I had for months)to severe gas or cramping which came on about every 5-10 minutes over a 10 hour period! Constipation, also! I plan on telling my oncologist this before next chemo session! Anyone else experience this change and what was suggested to you?
