First biopsy shows Lobular Neoplasia, waiting on 2nd biopsy results

Hello! My Wife felt a lump and had nipple discharge (bloody at first but now turned brown).
Went to the GP and referred to the breast clinic. Had the various tests and scan picked up a very small lump. The first biopsy was diagnosed as Lobular Neoplasia. Second biopsy completed around the tissue of the LN and awaiting results. The second biopsy was a VAB and most of the mass was taken out. The nipple discharge is less frequent but now clear and not constant. I am expecting the worst as the follow up appointment is face to face rather than over the phone. Has anyone else had similar symptoms and it didn’t turn out to be BC?

Welcome to Mayo Connect, sorry for delay in response. It is so hard to interrupted response. It is best left to professional.

When I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer, every test added to my anxiety. I had different results then your wife had, mine is DCIS.

When is your appointment? Please keep us update.
