Any tips for where to get a facial or massage while in Rochester?

Posted by aoverbay @aoverbay, Oct 15, 2022

I will be having a lot of waiting time while there. Would love to find a reasonably priced facial and massage, but a good one. Any suggestions? Headed to Rochester.
Thanks

Hi @aoverbay, I don’t have any personal experience with facials or massages in Rochester but one of the nice features of being a patient with Mayo Clinic is their complementary Concierge Service. They’re super friendly and have their fingers on the pulse of Rochester. I’m sure they can help you out.

In person: Concierge Services desk
Mayo Building (lobby level, in the International Center)
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No appointment necessary
By phone 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Friday: 507-538-8438
Email: concierge@mayo.edu
Online: Request Concierge Services

Since you’ll be there for a while, are you ready with your lodging? Patient portal set up?

Thanks so much. I’ll call them. I am set up on hotel and Patient portal. Trying to decide if we Uber or rent a car. Parking is the more expensive piece! If you have any suggestions for someone who can walk ok but after a little walking needs a wheel chair. So more like a place to drive to or sit for entertainment on the weekend that would be great. Thanks!

There’s no shortage of things to do in Rochester within walking distance of the clinic. The clinic itself is home to amazing art on any floor! Tons of restaurants, shopping and cultural opportunities around the city and within short drives.
There’s a great discussion group in the forum I think you’ll find helpful! Check this out:

Don’t hesitate to ask questions in the group for suggestions! How long will you be there?
