Face rash and mouth sores

Hi, my husband is having a hard time with the facial rash and mouth sores from Vectibux. He is currently doing Clinda gel twice daily, CeraVe cream three times a day, oral antibiotics. He takes a break from the Vectibux every 3 rd cycle for the rash to heal. Any thoughts or tricks.
