Expriencing pelvic pain when lying on my side
hey, so since a month ago i started expriencing burning pelvic pain when lying on the side on my mattress, i tried sleeping on the coach and i dont exprience this pain on the coach, it seems like the mattress sinks too much and i wonder if a mattress topper coupd solve the problem or is a new mattress needed (which is weird since its only a 3 years old mattress)

ariza9110 you might try flipping the mattress to where you are either sleeping on the now underneath side of the mattress or sliding completely around so that the weaker part of the mattress is not under your hip. Nice work figuring out that it's the mattress and not the hip.

1 Reaction@ariza9110 I know some mattress toppers are very soft so that would just mean more sinking... if there's a Verlo mattress store near you, you might talk to them about the problem- they custom-build mattresses. Do you have a doctor or physical therapist you can talk to about the best mattress or topper for you?
@ariza9110, changing the location of the sag doesn't work, which places the bed box under suspicion. I'd probably https://www.amazon.com/High-Density-Sponge-Sagging-Mattress-Support/dp/B0F5VXG7BT/ref=dp_prsubs_d_sccl_2/134-1900223-6470927 In truth, I'd find an old piece of wood behind the workshop that's waiting for repurpose. It is easiest to purchase a new mattress that might have even more benefit for your entire body.

1 ReactionSeems all the new mattresses hammock. I tried many, all the same results. The solution for me came with Sealy posturepedic, cushion firm. They reinforce the center. You can always add mattress pad or topper to soften but hard to make a soft mattress firm. 😴

3 ReactionsThe other thing to consider is a sacroiliac (SI) joint issue. The SI joint is where the spine connects to the pelvis. It can cause pelvic pain when lying on your side. Any pain in your buttocks, thighs or knees? Also, do you have any back issues, especially a fusion?
