Experience with verapamil & PN?
I've just been prescribed verapamil as a migraine preventive, and I think it may be aggravating my peripheral neuropathy -- anyone have any experience with this?
I have drug-induced peripheral neuropathy in my feet and ankles. I took the verapamil for the first time last night, and experienced prickling all the way up to the knee. It could, of course be coincidence, but it could be a genuine side effect. If it's temporary, then this is something I can live with. Not sure I feel that way if it becomes permanent, and doesn't stop when I cease taking the drug. Any insight?

it is very unlikely that it is causing exacerbation.

Compression stockings seem to be helping.
Dear @projfan
I have a weakness on my bottom of my right leg. My wife came up of my “Compression stocking”, too. A fell down on my legs/foot in my garage. The pain ends everything else than cutting our grass and outside thingswaslost after I fell down. The last year ago, my doctor fixed my bottom back and go rid of pain -100% of pain is gone, BUT the falling down was still a non-balance.
Before my blood in my leg/footneeded to get back by using “Comprassion (sp?) stocking’ to help my leg/fo9t. Today, my foot turned to normally but my bottom let turns is still red-ish.
Thx,
