Exercising before a PSMA Pet scan??

Just wondering if going for a bike ride or swimming before the PSMA Pet scan could impact results… I’m asking since biking and other vigorous exercise can effect your PSA blood test results…

That is not a good idea.’

Do a search yourself using “ is there any problem with going biking before a PSMA pet test” and you will find the answer is what I have posted below.

Strenuous exercise, including biking, can cause muscles to absorb more of the radiotracer used in the PET scan. This can interfere with the scan's ability to accurately detect the PSMA tracer, which is designed to highlight prostate cancer cells.
Increased muscle uptake of the tracer can lead to distorted or unclear images, making it difficult for your doctor to interpret the scan results accurately. In some cases, this could potentially mask abnormal findings or necessitate rescheduling the scan.

I wouldn't a few days prior to the test. Tracer uses glucose which pulls stuff into the muscles.
