Evinity & Reclast resukt work for anyone?
I just finished the Evinity and Reclast. Today I received a message from my Dr. and there is absolutely no change according to my DEXA. 12 months of Evinity and the Reclast did absolutely nothing. My doctor had gone thru the same and she had good results she said. Both my calcium and Vitamin D levels have been good. It only cost $30,000 for zero results. I broke my arm when I was 7 and then 50 when I had a small fracture from fall on ice on the same arm. Disapointment. I couldn't tolerate the pill form, either. Anyone have this issue?

frant, I've heard of each of these medications failing to achieve dexa results. You may, though, have some long lasting fracture risk reduction from the Reclast. Did you have 12 months of Evenity followed by a single infusion of Reclast. Bone marker CTX and P1NP can give you advanced warning about whether the medications are working. I wish they were more widely used by our physicians.
Have you been tested for secondary causes of osteoporosis.
You could try Forteo or Tymlos, but not without bone markers. You might ask for the serum tests now and after one or two months of Forteo or Tymlos.
Your other choice would be Prolia, but hesitate before considering Prolia.
