Evenity is Expensive even with Ins. My AMGEN discount is not working

I am not getting any answers with the billing lady who was suppose to handle my co pay assistance program set up through Froedtert.

I want to follow though with my treatment. I have done 2 months and I was just starting to feel positive and now I am feeling very discouraged. The co pay assistance program lady does not know how to handle this even though she said my my co pay will be $25.00 and she would keep a spreadsheet. but now the Amgen credit card that is suppose to be applied to lower my cost she has know ideas what to do. For some reason they can not apply my coupon and they have no idea what to do to fix my problem or lower my cost. I am not on Medicare and have regular Insurance and my Insurance does not cover the whole bill.

Is there someone I can reach out to? No-one knows what they are doing or how to handle this . The Froedtert Pharmacy possibly ? which I do not have a contact person for or phone number for maybe not be the right contact either. There is no Protocol. I am concerned as my bill is already $5,000.00 for two months with no resolve. Does anyone know what I can do or have had this issue? Or others who have dealt with this same issue? Thank you in advance.

I’m sorry to read that you’re having trouble with the Amgen support co-pay program. I was advised to sign up myself (which I did by phone) and submit the bills to the program as soon as I received them. Once I did that, it ran very smoothly. It’s not difficult to do, but whoever is supposed to be managing it for you needs to submit the bills, then wait for a week for the bills to be processed, then check that the funds have been placed on the Amgen credit card, and then pay the actual bill. That leaves you with about $25 for the medication, and whatever the facility charge is to give you the injections.

If you continue to have problems with it, I’m happy to talk you through what I did. Good luck with the treatments and the payments.
