Esophageal adenocarcinoma signet ring cell

Are there any esophageal adenocarcinoma signet ring cell survivors here? My husband was diagnosed Dec '23 as stage 3. He completed 6 rounds of carboplatin/paclitaxel and 23 radiation sessions and then an esophagectomy in May '24. Started Opdivo immunotherapy July '24 (residual cancer and 2/13 lymph nodes were postive post esophagectomy). Completed 10/13 rounds of immunotherapy and had a recurrence with metastases to lymph nodes. We have now been told he is stage 4 with no cure, just palliaitive chemo for life. He has completed 5 rounds of FOLFOX and tumour markers are decreasing. We are thinking about adding Vyloy (he is Claudin 18.2 positive 80%) in addition to the FOLFOX. Any feedback, good, bad, ugly, long term survivors? He just turned 50 this year and we have two teens together. I am scared for what's to come.

Have you looked at clinical trials there coming out with new treatments all the time. Worth checking out. Hoping the best for your family. Scott
