Endocrinologist Referral in Philly?

Hello newly dx with SAI and new to this site.

mayo did a wonderful job and candidly saved my life with this and another rare diagnosis (FMD).

I need to find a top flight endocrinologist in Philadelphia area.

Any recommendations?

@mutchlaw welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I’m sorry; I don’t know what SAI or FMD are. I am terrible with acronyms! In regards to finding a good endocrinologist have you thought of asking the providers that you worked with at Mayo for a recommendation? If you have a good working relationship with your primary physician you could also ask that provider for a referral to an endocrinologist. That would be helpful for a good collaborative team approach to your care.

I live in NE Philadelphia and go to Dr. Daniel Rubin for my Type 1 diabetes and thyroid issues. I find him knowledgeable and caring. I'm not sure if he works with SAI and FMD but you could check him out online. He is part of the Temple Hospital Health System.
