Elevated TPO and low anti-TG?

Posted by cheryl46 @cheryl46, Jan 13 6:39pm

My TPO has climbed to 58ml over 3 years with a normal high range of 10ml.
My thyroid functions are all normal but I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism (Hashimoto syndrome), yes my endocrinologist refuses to treat me.
Anyone else facing anything like this?

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s/Hypothyroidism in November of 2022. Since then, I’ve been given Synthroid to treat the Hypothyroidism and stopped eating Gluten, Dairy and Soy for my Hashimoto’s. The body inflammation and general joint pain has gone away! I also lost about 15 lbs without really trying to loose weight. When you eliminate those 3 foods, you will too. It does work and you will feel so much better! It may be time to find a new doctor, one that will listen to you. Good luck!
