Dutasteride

I have prostate cancer as well as urinary retention so I require a catheter. I am wondering if I should keep taking dutasteride. I can't consult with my urologist.

Hi @jimha, I regret that you are unable to consult with your urologist. This is a question that should be answered by someone who has access to your medical records and history. Fellow patients can't know what is right for you.

Jim, in the absence of being able to contact your urologist, could you talk to your primary care physician or pharmacist?
