Double mastectomy and Expanders removed: How to manage pain?

I had my expanders removed yesterday and implants placed. Having quite a bit of pain today.
Can’t take ibuprofen and Tylenol is not really working. Has anyone managed this pain and what did you do?

Dear charge67, can you ask your doctor for something a little stronger just to get you through this initial period?

Made it past the first 48 hours and so much better. The expanders were challenging so this stage seems like it should be easier going forward.
