Does Evenity get easier?

Posted by aspirecreative @aspirecreative, 16 hours ago

I had 1 shot of Evenity , followed by 7 weeks of joint and bone pain. I do have RA and it was the worst flare ever. I took a 2 month pause and am scheduled to start again. I am wondering if any one had a bad first reaction--bone and joint pain, but then found the subsequent ones were better. I am not sure if I am up for trying this again.

These decisions are so very difficult. I have been told by my endocrinologist that I have to take reclast or my bones will continue to fracture. Right now I am dealing with multiple fractures of my ribs and sacrum. I have also been advised that I cannot start reclast until all my bones have healed. I had X-rays and the results were no fractures, I then insisted on an MRI because I was in so much pain and it revealed five fractured ribs and "multiple" fractures of my sacrum. I don't know what to do. It seems everyone reacts differently to these medications, but my reactions to Prolia were severe !!!!!!! I would love to soak and I am considering buying a "walk in tub" Does anyone have any advise about which one to purchase. My shoulders are very painful and I would like to get a tub in which the water covers my shoulders.
I would really appreciate any advise. Feel as though I am in limbo, Don't know what to do. Thank you !!!!
