What were you diagnosed with and what treatments have you received so far? Are you taking medications for pain and are you getting help coping with chronic pain?

I’ve been tested several times for Lyme disease and from what I’ve read most tests show negative but the symptoms I have and because I have been infected several times by deer ticks I know I am infected but insurance doesn’t cover it and I was forced into early retirement money is always an issue we’ve spent $13,000.00 on various antibiotics and natural remedies nothing seems to work. Yes I’ve tried pain medication and the only one that works at least makes it tolerable is Buprenorphine/Nalox 8-2MG twice a day

Have you seen an infectious disease doctor or rheumatologist? Have you had any testing by a neurologist?

When you first were bit by a tick, did you get an antibiotic?

I’ve had several blood tests
Yes I’ve seen an infectious disease doctor
Yes I’ve seen a neurologist and was treated for the swelling in my lower legs
4 years ago I was bitten 4 different times by deer ticks
And I’ve taken years of antibiotics with no results

Have you been on prednisone/steroids to help manage inflammation and immune system? A rheumatologist may be able to provide more input/options.

Are you working with a pain management clinic to help you manage your chronic pain?
