Hi John, Pretty much the same treatment scenario for me. Only stretched out over 10 years. Still leaking. Only I don't have a choice regarding whether I wear pad, diaper, etc. Like I told my wife; when we come into the world we are given diapers and walker. When we go out we are given diapers and a walker.

Hey John, I'm a beer drinker (62)and I wear a pad at night. Surgery, September 2019. It's getting better but I don't want to take any chances. Just glad to be alive. I can handle the vanity part.

John,
That seems to be the when most leakage occurs. Sneezing, coughing, physical stress.

I had a prostatectomy combined with a bladder diverticulotomy in April of 2017. I had greenlight laser surgery about 9 yrs previous to my total prostate removal. I did have problems with leakage prior to surgery, and it hasn't gotten better. I still wear tape on diapers during the day, and heavy pin on cloth diapers with a diaper cover at night. 2 1/2 years ago, I was diagnosed with heart failure. I have several different problems with my heart. I have had every test imaginable to determine the right direction to take. I had a pacemaker implanted 6 months ago, and continue with lots of drugs. It has been recommended that I drink 4 liters of water per day. You can imagine what that does for my incontinence! I have read that over 50% of patients with heart failure have incontinence issues. So, yes I still leak. Probably for the rest of my life. I've come to grips with the need to wear diapers. At least I'm still alive.
