Does anyone have success with Tramadol?
I began treatment today, 50MG twice daily. I started with one pill every 12 hours. Will move to 2 pills as I can tolerate. Neuropathy in feet and completely numb. Hope someone has found Success. Thank You.

Hi Berk @gba, I'm guessing the tramadol is for the neuropathy pain you have as I don't think there is any drug that helps the numbness. Here's a search of Connect for members who have mentioned tramadol for neuropathy that might be helpful to look through while you wait for members with experience to respond - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/?search=Tramadol%20for%20neuropathy%20.

2 ReactionsBerk @gba, tramadol won't help with neuropathic numbness, though as John mentions it is prescribed for neuropathic pain. If you aren't having pain, you might best not take tramadol.

1 ReactionMy wife has been taking Tramadol for her restless legs syndrome for several years now, and it's not even close to being a reliable medication. Some nights it helps considerably, and some nights it doesn't do a damn thing for her.
She hasn't had a full night's sleep in years.

2 ReactionsDid not work at all for myself either. An anti-inflammatory diet helped better then taking pills for myself. Pills didn't help just made me feel awful. Good luck hope you find something that works.

1 Reaction@gently I still have my SandDune Stepper but I kind of forgot about it so thanks for the reminder. I set it aside when I had a knee replacement a few years ago and started using my FreeStep Elliptical Cross Trainer which is similar to a recumbent exercise bike for arms and legs. I do need to get that out and start using it as it is good for balance and strengthening the legs and feet - https://www.sanddunestepper.com/what-is-the-sanddune-stepper/.

1 ReactionToo hard to deal with the constipation side effect
Never had that side effect. Took 100mg 3 times a day for years. Never helped with back pain much. Did give me a mild boost in the morning. Not currently taking it, but I could quit it cold turkey anytime with no ill effects.

2 ReactionsThanks for all of your replies. About what I thought.
Kindest Regards, Berk
I am prescribed 50 mg. of Tramadol 4 times a day for neuropathic foot pain and I don't know how I would live without it. For restless leg syndrome I have been prescribed Ropinirole and I wouldn't be able to sleep without it - it's like a miracle for me.
