Hi,
It’s my right leg too that I have the sciatic pain. I had all sorts of(useless and expensive!) treatment last year but then found relief with a Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation and am going to have to organise a repeat. My back’s a mess but there’s little that can be done! I walk and exercise despite the pain and try to manage as much as possible. People who haven’t experienced chronic pain really don’t get it do they?! All the best to you. Janet

Same problem with leefuller1. My sympathies. It is hard to sit without pain. Have tried physical therapy several times, the most recent one with laser treatments. Had also tried epidural injections, and an unsuccessful laminectomy. None of these helped, and the pain is gradually getting worse. I basically take Tylenol which takes the edge off the pain, but not completely. The pain has gone on for over 10 years. It really affects the quality of my life.

At this time I’m experiencing sciatic in my right cheek butt and I can keep it down to minimal pain by stretching it out on the floor and ice packs are very good at helping the pain

Yes I do! Also right leg. I had a Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation done last year which worked well and plan to have it done again.

It is supposed to actually destroy nerves causing the pain. Unfortunately nerves are very smart and can grow back! The pain specialist said that some people have permanent relief but I’m not one of them. It really helped me last year and I plan to repeat it. Previous pain specialist had me doing all sorts of stuff, including a week in hospital on Ketamine - absolutely useless and a ‘dystopian nightmare’!

Hi,

I had sciatica pain, I went to a cranial sacral pt and after several months, it was no longer an issue. I do certain exercises everyday, and only with other issues ( me doing what I should not) does it come back.i had the pain about 10 years before the pt.
