Does anyone have an adrenaline back pain feeling

I am 17 and have had lower back pain above the buttocks for a year. It feels like adrenaline or a thrill sensation and that is the only way I know how to describe it. I am going to Mayo but am nervous on what they are going to say. I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis but don't think that is it because that is a widespread pain disorder and this is localized. Any thoughts, anyone with similar pain?
