Hi @gigikocmankokemoor1, I'm tagging @kkenn and @pegorr who may have experiences with meningioma involving the falx cerebri, the brain membrane that separates the left and right sides of the brain.
Gigi, has your care team suggested treatment or are you on active surveillance? How was the meningioma discovered?

With CT scan then a MRI ,I saw a neurosurgeon 2 was ago he says it's 1.2 cm it's stable and has not grown since last scan, but I have very bad headache, I get off balance, one eye gets so fogging I can not see out of it my memory is real bad, but the neurosurgeon says that the falx meningioma brain tumor is not causing all this stuff,I asked what is then he said maybe my thyroid. But I have had a complete blood work up and all ih good but my cholesterol is high.so I don't know.so I don't know what to do for answers.

I have a meningioma but mine is between my eyes. I haven’t had any trouble out of mine. It’s grown a little in 12 years . I’ve been under active surveillance since being diagnosed. However my doctor wanted to do surgery in 2022. I’m not having any problems and it’s only grown a little. I’ve decided not to have surgery.

its so frustrating snd sorry you're going through this. i also have a falx meningioma and they said the issues with my right eye was not due to it. fast forward my recent scan they saw another in the sinus cavernous which was there since 2017 but neglected to note it on all my scans until now. I hope they can figure out what's going on and able to get you in the right direction.

@thopri52, I can understand not wanting surgery if you're not experiencing symptoms and there is no to little change. May I ask what indications led to your doctor bringing up the option of surgery in 2022? How often do you go for follow-up?
gigi...I also have a falx meningioma. I think it's .8 cm. I also have a parasaggital meningioma-.6.
A year ago I had a craniotomy for a 3 cm. meningioma that was trying to grow into my optic nerve. The same neurosurgeon who removed that meningioma said, "If you were my sister I'd recommend that we watch and wait on those two." They have not shown any growth on the MRIs over the course of a year and a half. Ultimately, the neuro doc said he would only recommend radiation if I got to the point where he thought something should be done.

@gigikocmankokemoor1, that sounds very frustrating and your search for answers continues. Have you considered getting a second opinion?
