Welcome @godfirst, I have not heard of Mama Bear Nerve lotion but a quick search found it which doesn't surprise. Appears to be just another proprietary nerve pain lotion that is big on advertising with no science behind it. There are a lot of different treatments incuding complementary and alternative treatments around the have helped some folks. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has a list here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/treatments/.
Funny you should ask. I actually am using it for a few weeks now. I actually believe it is helping me. The hyp is its Magnesium ingredient. I also like Frankincense & Myhr oil. Both seem to sooth tingling sensation a little. Maybe just a placebo effect but if it works for you no harm.
At night, I am currently using a neuro cream compound on the soles of my feet which was prescribed by my family doctor. It is better than most OTC creams, but must be applied several times during the night. The other drawback is the cost which depending upon where you buy it, can cost upward as much as several hundred dollars for a 2-month supply. It is covered or partially covered by some insurances.
Recently, I discovered this new cream called Qutenza which is usually covered by insurance. You must be evaluated first to see if you qualify. If you do, a specialized nurse must apply it. They are patches which are applied to the infected area and left on for 40 minutes. After they take the patches off, you can experience bad burning pain after about an hour. Be ready with a pan of whole milk to soak your feet in. It relieves the pain after about 10 minutes. The treatment is suppose to relieve your neuropathy pain for up to 3 months. I have found some good success with this. When I do get pain, massaging my soles seems to take it away rather quickly. I go back at the end of December for my 2nd treatment and will definitely have that pan of cold whole milk ready.

If you feel comfortable, can you share a little more about your diagnosis and any treatments you have tried?
