Distal Radius Surgery

I had surgery on my distal radius 3 weeks ago. It was done on the top of my hand, started some therapy and doing it at home. Wondering if anyone had trouble lifting their thumb (giving a thumbs up) during this time after a distal radius surgery? Thanks
