Did I Give Up? No

My child, whom I have loved for 55 years is finally seeing the Light. He has been mixed with the unholy for all his life, but I have never stopped hoping and praying for him.
Today I got a letter from him (he is in prison) saying that he has connected with God, and Holy Spirit.
I am crying tears of thankfulness, and joy.
God is faithful, and great always. Never stop praying!

I’m very happy for you and your son, it seems that he has had enough of trying to live his life the wrong way. He has seen the light and it just goes to show that prayers work, God is listening and answering, best wishes to you both, amen.

SusanEllen,
I am so glad that your son has found God! Your prayers were answered! It's wonderful when God answers prayers no matter how long he takes. God is always there for us even when it seems like he isn't. It states in the Bible that God knows of all your needs and he certainly does! I'm so happy for you and your son.

I read a post a while ago where a lady was talking about her aunt, she went on to say that her aunt was always a happy and loving person even though she had a hard time with her children. She asked her aunt how she remained happy and she replied, I just say to myself let it go and let God, I found this so beautiful and now I practice it every day.
