Fentanyl is the strongest pain medication with hazards, though.

If you vape, and it works, you may exchange one problem for another.
Take care,

Research Scrambler Therapy and see if it is offered near you. It helps a lot of people with neuropathy but not all…..70-80% is worth a try…but isn’t covered by insurance.

I recently read that Journavx is used short term, like after surgery. And the price is outrageous...$15.50 per pill and the usual dosage is 2 a day. Medicare does not cover it. Not sure about other insurance.
This is from the Vertex site... "Vertex is also evaluating suzetrigine in peripheral neuropathic pain (PNP). The company’s Phase 3 pivotal program for suzetrigine in patients with painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy is ongoing, "
But unless insurance starts covering it, $31 a day is probably out of most people's reach.

That’s correct it’s not used for chronic pain. That is long term acute pain is only temporary.

Try The Super Patch Company. I use the Liberty Patch but there is now one for pain. It's expensive but helps my pain and balance.

For my trigeminal neuralgia I am pain free by taking a teaspoon of turmeric juice with a pinch of black pepper and I sprinkle cayenne pepper in all drinks and food all day. I am 82.

CDB can help from things like gummies or chocolates. There are a few other edibles. THC is the other component in the marijuana area. This is the psychological (hallucinating) part of marijuana that causes you to get sleepy, or hungry, or in some people it helps with activities. Type of pot and level of THC can be identified. This has helped me with cronic pain. I use it at night before bed to help go to sleep. Check your state for the marijuana laws. It might be legal or you might have a medical marijuana state program.
