CTX

Does anyone know if a CTX of 241 and 265 is good? So hard to read the results and doctors do not know very much.

CTX is evaluated in conjunction with P1NP, since different people have different levels.

Right. I am asking about the numbers. What are good numbers?

Bone markers are highly individual. There are reference values online by age ranges, for example, this Mayo Clinic page has a list for males and females: https://www.mayocliniclabs.com/api/sitecore/TestCatalog/DownloadTestCatalog?testId=83175

As you can see, the ranges can be wide.

It would be ideal to obtain a value prior to starting any osteoporosis treatment to determine whether the treatment is working.

Yes, I had a test done before treatment. It showed low bone turnover, and they still suggested meds. Thanks for the link.

My most current CTX is within age range.
