Covid pneumonia turns to long haul covid?
I’m 30 days post Covid pneumonia. Fatigue, SOB, body aches, joint pain, difficulty sleeping, edema of feet and increase in night sweats. Are these all symptoms of long haul covid?

So sorry you are having all these symptoms. Yes, they are all symptoms that a person with long COVID might have. But this is not a diagmosis of long-COVID. I'm not a medical doctor and I can't diagnose. Stay in touch with your medical provider, and if you do not have one that takes long COVID seriously, talk to others, ask your medical provider for a referral to someone who does specialize in long-COVID. My very best wishes to you. (Normally a diagnosis of long-COVID is given only when at least 6 weeks have passed since the diagnosis of COVID.)
Others: please correct how long an interval before long-COVID is diagnosed, if need be.
Thank you so much for your reply. I’m 67 and have never experienced anything like this. Scary and exhausting. How long will this stage last? I think you’re right, I need to talk with my doctor. Again, thank you and God bless.
patrickterri, These were symptoms for me after having COVID pneumonia. Some of them hung on and I am 2 years past my first case of COVID and was diagnosed with Long Covid.
The SOB and chest pain hung on for a while. I have never been that tired in my entire life.
It has gotten much better. The shortness of breath went away, but, I still battle fatigue and joint pain...BUT, not to the extent I had it before.
Praying for you right now. Blessings....
Thank you so much and I’m sorry for what you’re going through.
Oh dear, 1-2 years out. I thought it would only be a couple months. Prayers for you. ❤️
patrickterri, I didn't mean to cause worry. Everybody is so different. It could be gone in a few days, few weeks or a few months with a lot of folks.
Praying much for you. Thank you for the prayers. Blessings & hopeful for you....
