I am very hopeful that you will have a better outcome compared to mine. You will on meds for a longer period than my two weeks pre-SBRT, and lower dose radiation over a longer period of time, based on what I read in this forum over the past five months, will likely cause less side effects or harm on organs at risk. Kidding, of course. The nature of observed metastasis precludes the necessity of approaching the outer margins of the gland. The purpose of the radiation therapy, in my case, is to, hopefully, shrink the prostate enough so that I can urinate without using a catheter. ADT/ARSI (and most likely chemo at a later date) are going to have to take care of whatever malignancy is left over.

Bottom line is they can't get it all with radiation, or surgery, for that matter, anyway.
