Correlation between sleep apnea (and using CPAP) and PN (foot numbness

Is there any chance that having sleep apnea and using a CPAP can affect/worsen my PN (foot numbness) condition?

Not sure but I don't think so. I've had neuropathy for 30+ years and obstructive sleep apnea was diagnosed about 5+ years ago when I started using a CPAP. It hasn't had any effect on my neuropathy numbness/tingling symptoms. I'm not a doctor and have no medical training but can say if you aren't getting a quality night's sleep and the body doesn't get the rest it needs there are a lot of things that can be impacted. The CPAP itself is meant to help improve the sleep so if it's not doing it's job for many possible reasons, I suppose you could said it can have an effect of some sort. Just an opinion and I'm sure others may also have some experience to share with you.

I've had sleep apnea and, on a C-PAP machine since 2004 and did not show any signs of neuropathy until 2009 and even the initial signs were minor for 4 years. Like John Bishop, I'm not a medical expert but I doubt there is any connection.

I have been on CPAP for 30 years. I sleep well and the data shows that to be the case. I have had neuropathy in my lower legs and feet for many years as well. I have never perceived that sleep apnea has had any impact on the quality of my sleep.
