Consulting with Mayo about stem cell treatment

Has anyone consulted with a physician at Mayo, or any other clinic, about stem cell therapy for relief or cure of peripheral neuropathy. I have talked with a Stem Cell Clinic, but would like an outside opinion before proceeding with treatement.

I was diagnosed with idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy at Rochester Mayo Clinic back in 2016 but since I don't have pain and only have some numbness and tingling with my neuropathy there are no treatments available that will help. That's what brought me to Mayo Clinic Connect to learn more about my condition and how other members manage their condition. I don't want to be a naysayer because I think regenerative medicine is probably one of the bright new hopes of neuropathy treatments. The problem is that there are a lot of stem cell clinics offering false hope for a lot of money (my personal opinion). That said, you might find some more information on the topic from Mayo Clinic helpful:

Stem cell therapy is ridiculously expensive, and may help some people with their osteoarthritis, but for neuropathy? Not in my opinion.
