Complex regional pain syndrome
Got diagnosed complex regional pain syndrome after ACDF at c5 c6 and suffered a spinal cord injury at that level 6 weeks post op. Spinal cord compression has resolved but noted the symptoms didn’t come right away it’s been 2 years of gradual various symptoms of onset . Within the last 3 months I’ve experienced burning pain in back of neck scalp arms and legs . Muscle contraction in various parts of body especially in upper trapezius muscles and deltoid . Feet arches aching and some burning. Sore ness in fatigue in muscles especially on right side and suffer various sensation of sensory in parts of body . I’ve been to second opinion neurology and neuromuscular doctors as well as neurosurgeon to rule out cervical spine alignment and failed hardware. Dr wants to put me on Melexitine to treat for all the discomfort. I’m scared and in a lot of discomfort. Anyone know how to manage this .

Hi. Mine was not in my spine, it was after shoulder surgery. I had no use of my hand or arm for 3 months the pain was unbearable. I was in OT/PT for those 3 months. Took 6 months for the pain and burning to really stop. It did resolve but lasting shoulder pain. Now, my Dr. will not touch the shoulder due to CRPS. Please find a neurologist that has dealt with CRPS. Research all meds. Many doctors are not knowledgeable about this. Meditation, pain meds, CBD, THC, try everything! Some say nerve meds like Gababetin or Lyrica have helped.
Good luck.♥️
