Returning to Mayo Rochester after follow up Mayo Clinic Health System?
If we go to a satellite clinic for check ups can we go back to Rochester if the cancer is back

@mikla42, My primary care is through the Kasson Mayo Family Clinic and if I have to have a treatment or procedure that is not normally done in the Kasson, MN facility, they make an appointment for me at Rochester Mayo Clinic. I would just talk to your doctor at the New Prague Mayo Clinic to confirm.

3 Reactions@mikla42, thanks for explaining. The clinics in the Mayo Clinic Health System, such as Mayo in New Prague work closely together. Should your cancer return, your care team can coordinate with your cancer specialists in Rochester. If treatment is necessary, you may be able to get it done locally (i.e., drug or chemo treatment) or you may have to go to Rochester for testing or treatment (some types of radiation) to have access to the machinery required.
May I ask what type of cancer you had?
