Cirrhosis and joint pain

Do anyone suffer extreme pain in the joints and also have cirrhosis of the liver. Due to chronic hepatitis c caught by suffering a traumatic event while young. I had this virus for over twenty years and finally been cleared for four years. Can you tell me what works for you? Thank you.

Hi there,

I have lots of joint pain and a rare liver disease, PBC, stage 4. About a year ago put myself on a gluten free diet. That has helped. All meals are cooked at home to avoid temptations. It’s difficult but I keep busy with lots of projects which keeps my mind from thinking about my illnesses. Examples of projects are staining my fence, mowing lawn, snow removal, caring for Jo and Iris my Boston Terriers, washing the Toyota on and on.
For pain I take Tylenol 500mg usually before bedtime. Other stronger stuff makes me nauseated.
That’s it.
