Chronic diarrhea with pressure

I have been diagnosed with Colitis. I take Mesalamine and Zophran for pain. Constant pain on right side with some bloating. Some discharges are violent must rush to toilet.
Recent colonoscopy.
Any reply welcomed.

Hi, I’ve experienced same symptoms. I have tried many different things to stop it. I have to take Levothyroxin 100mg, I think the problem was I was taking the Levothyroxin when I would wake up at. 3 am, then I would wake up at 9 am and rush to bathroom. It’s only been. 3 days since I change the time I take the medicine, so I’m hoping this is the solution. On line it did say Levothyroxin causes gas and diarrhea and cramps, plus other’s symptoms. Hope this helps.

@garyk1 Yes Levothyroxin is for thyroid problems. I have not had any problems since I changed it to when I get up in morning. It took a long time to figure out, after many test. A lot of medications would be better if you didn’t take when you go to bed. It’s best to take any medication with full glass of water which would interrupt your sleep, so I’m trying to take 3 or 4 hours before bed. I not sure if this is my problem , I can only wait and see if it starts up again.
