It would be advisable to have a consultation with a neurologist and consider working with a physical
medicine rehabilitation physician or qualified pain
specialist if needed.
Some manipulative therapy might worsen your
symptoms. Physical therapy movement and stretching
with core exercises prescribed can be helpful if you
haven’t tried them.
If you have had any kind of back surgery, especially a fusion, chiropractic is definitely not advised. I know that many people claim that their chiropractor is their savior. Personally, even before back surgery, I have never had any kind of relief from any chiropractor. One used every visit that I was allowed by insurance (16 as I recall) within a 6 week time span. I read an article by a 30-year practicing chiropractor who said that if a chiropractor can't give you some relief within 4 visits, walk away. The final straw for me was when afore-mentioned chiropractot pointed a bluish laser light at my forehead, which was supposed to help with my minor back pain.
I went to one that I had gotten help from before the stenosis but when it started I went to him and I woke up feeling dizzy and my pelvis was crooked. I was very worried and finally got it better by a hot shower and stretching. So no more.
Sorry to hear about your troubles, and it sounds like you've taken some steps to mitigate it. If your pelvic problems persist or affect your quality of life, it is recommended that you consult a doctor for professional advice and treatment. At the same time, maintaining appropriate rest and exercise, and paying attention to posture and sitting posture, can help reduce the discomfort caused by pelvic problems. I wish you a speedy recovery
I was having a chiropractor treat me for constant headache until I could not stand the dizziness after he worked on my neck. It persisted for days after so I stopped going.
