Cervical kyphosis
My arm shoots numbness to my hands! I wake up sick with my ears clogged and jaw pain (tmj) dentist says I’m fine if it’s just a small clicking and my chiropractor I went to see after years of being sent away with chronic migraines since I was 12 said the same along with that I have cervical kyphosis she said I had “straight neck and lost the curve” none of my visits with her have helped any at all! My body is in lots of pain! Migraines daily sometimes throwing up! I get dizzy a lot and have shooting pains down my hands and I’m staying stressed out and waking up with sore throat and sinus issues daily! What the heck. Nobody seems to help it’s always “what do you want me to do” or “just wait till you’re my age for real pain”🤣 just need some help here! Someone guide me on what to do next I’m just freshly an adult tryna figure out my future without having to worry about life long issues like this! Chronic pain is not a joke(:

Thank you but it’s a lot more complicated then needing “cbd”!

have you been to a pain clinic. There are nerve blocks that can ease some of the pain. Someone does need to tell you about where the nerve to your arm is being pinched. So you've lost the curve, but at which levels are the nerves being obstructed. If you haven't had an MRI, you might want (which is to say, you should get) one. Then you can see if it is central canal or facet. And proceed to getting appropriate help. I think the arm and the headache are at two different levels. The clicking could be the Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) which can cause headache, and could be adjusted by your chiropractor. You may need new providers all the way around.
I'm sorry you are experiencing reluctance from the practitioners you are seeing. Be aggressive.
Thankyou and yes! I’m at the point where I want new providers for sure sad thing is I’ve moved everywhere my whole life so my current primary has only been mine for a year now. I’ve been to the ER plenty times and in December they did a mri for me going in due to throwing up and a migraine that made me dizzy at work! Said “your all good to go” like no joke 3 weeks later chiro says other wise and now my chiro just keeps gas lighting me she will crack my neck or back and then say “I know that made the pain go away huh” like as a joking way but noooo!!!…🤣 it sure as heck did not and nobody understands me I swear. Thankyou though I’ll see what I can do just so tired of people pushing me away with chronic pain rather then doing more tests for me! Just because I’m overweight shouldn’t mean it’s always a weight issue especially when I was 160 lbs with the same issues just two years ago they’ve just gotten worse. Thankyou again!
chronicpainisreal6,
it's the doctors not your weight. I've been to myriad pain clinics with my mom. I swear, many doctors don't want to do anything. They hope to get paid by the word. But some (and if you keep looking, you will find them) are amazing. We had really good luck at Stanford pain Clinic though the first doctor, fellow, we saw told us that all back pain is caused by physical abuse from childhood. Then we saw the director, Sean Mackey and everything changed.
I recommend a University pain clinic if you are near one because you see more than one physician.
Your well-meaning chiropractor may not be able to help you. I have several that I see. Some are really good with the neck, some are not. But others are great with the low back or the feet. Some are not very good. I would want one who would adjust the joint in the jaw. If it's clicking the joint is displaced.
If you don't have copy of the MRI from December you might get a copy both the written and the CD. If you upload the written some of us will take a hard look at it. It may tell the story.

It sounds like you need to see a neurologist and orthopedic spine specialist. I also have cervical kyphosis plus spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and cervical myelopathy spinal cord compression injury.
Based upon your symptoms, it sounds like you need an MRI of your head (migraines/ears/jaw) and cervical spine to see structures and soft tissues more closely. You should also ask a neurologist to do a EMG/nerve conduction study of your upper and lower limbs. Your shooting pain and numbness in hands seems to be coming from your cervical spine and may be a pinched nerve root causing radiculopathy.
My suggestion is to not see a chiropractor or do anymore adjustments on your neck as it can cause you more structural damage/symptoms. Adjustments can permanently injure compressed spinal cord/nerve roots.
