Cervical cancer lymph nodes

Posted by margitdill @margitdill, 1 day ago

An update: after 13 cycles of TIVDAK, it stopped working. The lymph nodes in my left neck and abdomen have increased and cancer has built up around my urether again. My oncologist refers to all this as “progression.” In two weeks, he is shifting me to a different targeted therapy - ENHERTU, originally for breast cancer now expanded to other cancers., I’m interested in hearing similar experiences… types of treatment when there is lymph node involvement, and alternative treatments. Thank you!

Enhertu is working for me. I have endometrial stage 3C1 serous cancer. Have had 7 rounds (spaced three weeks apart) and tumor progression has been arrested and some have shrunk. Overall 58% resolution.
The treatment is ongoing until the point of progression. So far so good, but it is a hassle being on such a restrictive regiment. I have to fly to another city to get the treatments which only adds to my stress.
This treatment is part of a clinical study to test the efficacy of enhertu for endometrial cancer, so is not freely available for the condition in Canada.
Hope this helps

Yes, thank you … this helps! I will start it as soon as insurance approves it and I have an echocardiogram. Hugs!
